Foothills Home Buyers

Questions people ask us

Don’t see yours? Call or text us. We’re happy to talk it through, even if you’re not ready to sell.

How do you decide what to offer?

We look at what similar homes nearby have sold for, the repairs the house needs, and our costs to fix it up and sell it. We’ll walk you through those numbers so you can see exactly how we got there.

Do I need to make repairs or clean out the house?

No. We buy houses as-is. Take what you want to keep and leave the rest. We’ll handle it.

How fast can you close?

In as little as 7 to 14 days. If you need more time to move or sort things out, tell us and we’ll work out a date that fits.

How quickly will I get an offer?

After a short phone call, we’ll set up a time to see the house. You’ll have a cash offer within 24 hours of our visit.

Are there any fees or commissions?

None at all. Many of the homeowners we work with are going through a hard season and need every dollar they can get from their sale. That’s why we charge zero fees, and you won’t pay any real estate commissions when you sell to us. It’s one of the biggest reasons our neighbors choose to work with us.

Who pays the closing costs?

[Confirm your policy here: who covers escrow, title and other closing costs.]

Am I obligated to sell if I ask for an offer?

Not at all. Asking for an offer is free, and you’re welcome to say no. We won’t pressure you.

I’m behind on payments or facing foreclosure. Can you help?

Often, yes, and the sooner we talk the more options you’ll have. We also encourage you to speak with a HUD-approved housing counselor, who can review options with your lender at no cost. We’re not attorneys, so for legal questions please talk with one.

The house is in probate. Can you still buy it?

Yes. We can work with the executor or the estate’s attorney. The timing depends on where the estate is in the court process, and we’ll plan around it.

There are tenants living in the house. Is that a problem?

No. We’ll talk through the lease, the tenants’ situation and the options for selling with them still in the home.

Daniel is a licensed real estate agent. Why would you buy my house?

Buying houses directly is one part of what we do. When we make a cash offer, we’re the buyer, and Daniel isn’t acting as your agent. If listing on the open market would get you a better result, we’ll tell you honestly.

What do you do with my information?

We use it to contact you about your property and, if you choose to sell to us, to complete the sale. We never sell your information or share it with other companies for their marketing. Our privacy policy has the full details.

Still wondering if this is right for you?

A quick conversation costs nothing. We’ll give you an honest answer either way.
